Okay, This is Chad speaking. As the father of many children, an entrepreneur and a passionate adventure guy and skier, I am constantly having "brilliant ideas" that often seem better on paper. (Like the time we lived in a wall tent and camp trailer for two years in Los Angeles while saving every penny to buy our dream property in the country) but that's another story.
The Big Ski Family came about when I was approached by a Lange Boot Rep while our family was skiing at Mt Bachelor in Bend, Oregon. On the chair ride up he said. Is it true you are all one family? I said, yes. I want you all wearing Lange ski boots, he said.
I asked why?
Dude, every one of you rips! He said. And every head on the chairlift and on the runs is turning to watch you all as you ski by.
My wife Jenise and I had an idea when they were young to put them in all matching suits so we didn't lose them. It dawned on me that it was now creating some kind of value for others.
